Students are encouraged to start cleaning out their lockers as the end of the year approaches. There will be time provided on May 25th during the school day. Teachers will assist with returning missing CA Textbooks/books and checking students lockers during this initial clean-out.

ALL CA Textbooks/Books need to be collected before the last day of school to avoid a fine.

Since cinco de mayo falls on a Saturday this year, the middle school Spanish classes will be celebrating with some food, videos, and outside time on Thursday and Friday! Many students signed up to bring food in to class these days - GRACIAS/THANK YOU to everyone who is contributing to our fiesta!

The Silent Auction is open for bidding on many amazing teacher experiences as well as many cool baskets and other items and services.

College T-Shirt Day this Friday, February 23rd
Pennies for Patients fundraiser will start Monday, February 26th,, ending Friday, March 2nd. Middle school homeroom classes will be in competition against one another. Students are encouraged to bring in loose change to help support this cause.
Read-a-thon will take place on Friday, March 2nd. Students will be reading throughout the day on this particular day. Comfy clothes can be worn on this day!!
Please encourage your child to check his/her Infinite Campus to stay on top of his/her assignments/grades.

Thursday, January 25th from 5-7pm
showcasing art projects, science and history displays,
and Spanish performances!
There will be a bus shuttle from St. Bernards Catholic Church to CA running about every 10 minutes.
Don't forget to vote for best in show award for the Art Show.
Make sure to take home your Science Fair project before you leave.

Cologne Academy's Veteran's Day Program will be held on Friday, November 10 at 2:30 pm in the CA Gym.
This is a wonderful program honoring all of our Veterans and we invite all of our CA families to attend.
We need your photos!
If you have a special serviceman/woman that you would like to honor in our Veteran's Day program please click here for a photo submission form (or pick up a form up in the main office) to submit with a photograph. The photo will be included in the PowerPoint presentation during the Veteran's Day program.

Feed My Starving Children
We are looking for a few service minded chaperones to accompany us on this trip. Responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead a group of 4-5 Cologne Academy students packing food (likely you will be sealing bags)
- Make sure all students in your group get on the bus back to Cologne Academy
- Where: Meet at Feed My Starving Children at 11:45

CA Student Council will be hosting this event!
*This year we will be collecting $3 for admission and donating the funds to the Red Cross to help the victims of Irma and Harvey.
RELAY FOR LIFE
Hello Families!
Cologne Academy Scholars will be given the opportunity this week to help those battling cancer, and also earn a non-uniform day in the process!
CA's National Junior Honor Society is raising money for our school's Relay for Life team. All money collected goes directly to the American Cancer Society and is used to fund research and help patients get the care they need.
Here are your child's options for non-uniform day!

$2 = non-uniform bottoms
$4 = non-uniform bottoms + top
$5 = non-uniform bottoms + top + hat
Please have your child bring their donation to their homeroom teacher this week. The non-uniform day will be this Friday, October 13

· Picture Day is Wednesday, September 27th. Students may be out of uniform this day and do not need to change into uniform clothes after pictures. Forms will be sent home before this week so you can select your photos/photo package, if desired.
· Friday, September 29th is College T-Shirt Day and our first OSA. College t-shirts will be distributed at school.
6-8 C.A. Art Club
Do you love art?! Join art club the first Wednesday of each month from 3:40-5:00 in Ms. Blotz’s art room for an amazing opportunity to put your creativity to work! Students will have freedom to work on developing individually as an artist by creating choice projects.
The cost of participating is $30.00. This is to buy supplies for the projects you will be choosing. We have a limited amount of students who can participate because of classroom space and we will take students on a first sign-up first served basis.
